This was a while back. I didnt want to bring it up like iwas trying to brag, but fuck it. I worked my ass off.

I got a second place in squats (all the way down to the bottom and then come up). I wont disclose the weights i lifted because its top secret in my training for the next event.

I came in 4th for bench. I came in LAST for deadlifts. Couldnt believe that. It was supposed to be my best lift. I thought squats were gonna be my worst.

I felt id post it cause im going to my grandmas to show her the trophy tomorrow.

Also this was a month ago, not during the rime i went away to do drugs.

I dropped to 190 from 205. I lost a lot of strength.

But i benched 300 compared to 330 at 205.
I squated 275 from the floor compared to i dont know, but i can leg press 880lbs 5-6 times after 8 sets. My knee was sore, but i used my head and made the other competitors beat my 275 and they couldnt. They missed the mark (didnt go down enough) and were disqualified.
I deadlifted 350. Thats about my max. I havent been maxing long, so i bet i can get 500 within a year.

I was so drained from eating such a low carb diet. I could have used that energy that day, but i did learn some important stuff for next time. I plan on squatting at least 300 from the floor next. i could get 350 paralell. I want to get 330 on bench better. I would have tried it, but i was too weak. I hate dropping weight.

I didn't put in all the effort with eating and all taht shit that you did though. Sounds like a lot of hard work is startin to pay off. Good job homie. I know 2 guys in my town that won Mr. Pittsburgh before. U oughta try out for that shit.

yo Blight, just some info,

Im not a certified trainer or weightlifting expert, but squatting below a cetain angle ( I believe its 90 degrees) fucks up your knees big time because they arent used to going down that far and they pop or something.

Just some shit I heard, I dont know how accurate it is.

And congrats on the win.

Lol "BLIgHT"

Ass to the Grass squats will build a fuckin ass on a person, lol, i dont do them too often unless i wore my glutes out on a leg press machine first. But i do strict form so my knees can handle it. Just make sure your knees dont go past your toes, its best to do them on a smith machine. I like 90 degree squats best, but i do real low ones sort of often.

THANKS for the congrats!

I can tell you if your 5-11 and want to be on a competitors level at my weight (190 at the time) you should bench at least 330 max, deadlift 500 max (if you do those), and squat 350 at 90 degrees. At least thats what most of the others in my class were around. If you can squat 325 and you plan on dropping body weight, wino, to like close to 200 (i have no idea if thats what you mean for sure) dont expect to be as powerful at first until you can adjust to your new weight. I lost a hit load of strenght just dropping 15 pounds.
