i wanna make beats on my computer with my keyboard

where and how much can i get the cord that goes to it

and do i need to buy or download any prgrams after that

my keyboard is a casio but i couldnt find on the casio website what type it is

when you that far behind in the game,Its kind of hard to explain what your needs aRE Cause there are alot of variables like what are you tryin to do etc..my best advice is visit a guitar center..look around..touch everything, ask alot of questions..dont buy anything yet...Then ask some questions, and then do some more research then purchase..you can save alot of money this way.


Or to simply answer your question is you need two midi cables and connect that to your sound card.....does your sound card have midi in and out, if not you will need some type of adapter.So you run the midi out of your keyboard to the midi in on your computer...this allows you to enter midi data such as notes evrytime you hit a key..thats midi data.now run a midi cable from your computers midi out to your keyboard midi in....this is when you say after you put in your midi data...such as your melodies and you record that on your computer sequencer.then you press play on your sequencer step back..the computer sends midi data back to your keys and now your keys are playing what you put in as far as midi data...etc etc etc.....thats enough for now until you ready then ask some more questions
