alot of people recommend nikon or canon joints....... a good digital slr depending on ya price range, I don't know if i'm of much help.........

A nice, easy, cheap camera to start with is a Nikon D40.

I'm in the same boat fam I started with a Nikon D40 last yr and I'm still using it .. I wasnt sure on what kinda lights to get but on of my dudes recommended getting some construction lights just to start out with.. you can get them from lowes or home depot run about $25 the yellow ones with 2 lights on em they put out about 1000-1500 watts but they give off an orange tint in your photos which can be corrected in photoshop or lightroom.

depends on your preference, both are good cameras.. i'd go nikon.

the majority of this board shoots with nikon.. tragik, colombo, cheeto.. just to name a few

i dont know much about lenses.. im a beginner myself but i know that the ones they come with are good to begin with. Depends what you are going to be shooting too.
