It's good to see Choi Min Sik in something new. As for Lee Byung Hun, I forgot about him being in The Good, The Bad and The Weird. When I first saw him on the trailer, I thought of JSA. Speaking of director Park Chanwook (Oldboy, JSA), he is in the works of making his US directorial debut and has Colin Firth and Nicole Kidman attached to star.

In the meantime, I'll definitely have to check this "I Saw the Devil" out.

I started watching this last night and maybe it's just because I personally don't like horror/slasher films but it didnt draw me in at all. I'll try to finish it tho.

JSA is such an underrated movie. One of my favorite foreign flicks for sure.

Update:

Not so impressed. Movie was highly stylized and pretty violent and gory at parts, but that's about all. This is in the same vein as The Hitcher.
Have you seen A Bittersweet Life? It's Kim Ji-woon's best film, IMO. It was never released in the US though so pretty much the only way to see it is D/L.

Years and years ago I had downloaded A Bittersweet Life, and I had been meaning to watch it but never got around to it. I have seen A Tale of Two Sisters and The Good, The Bad, The Weird, however.

Just finished watching it, I thought the acting was superb, subtle, and natural which draws you into the movie. Unfortunately, the "Butterfly on the Wheel" approach was badly delivered. There was a few great scenes but the rest of the movie should of kept pace, or at least thrown a couple of twists into it to keep it fresh. Instead you are left knowing where the movie is going, thought it was a decent film but nothing I would recommend.

6/10 as well..
