They said some female official just went to Cuba to talk to Raul and Fidel. I think it was Barbara Lee and she mentioned she's considering removing the embargo. It's about fucking time there is absolutely no reason the embargo should still be in place. Removing the embargo will help the people of Cuba tremendously. I hope this goes through.

Members of the congressional black caucus were just there again for vacation. There is growing support for removing pieces if not the entire blockade and the black caucus has been a long time supporter of removing the blockade.
It was an even bigger deal because they met with Fidel who's alive and "well' in his adidas tracksuit and could lay to rest some of the rumors about him.
