Just go on Ebay and there are hella dudes selling cd-roms with hella Triton, Roland, Yamaha, MPC sounds and more... all in WAV format! They sell em for around 10 bucks on Ebay, you should check that shit out. Im using Fruity Loops myself and I think I could definatly benifit from one of those cd-roms. Holla if anyone got one for sale!
I'm pretty sure those e-bay cds only have about 20 or so different patches on the whole cd, so it's a waste of money. I could be wrong, but if they are the ones I'm thinking of, you get a few multisamples of very long pad type sounds. BulletProof, Get at me because I came across some other stuff like that for you.

lol.....thanks for the love bro! Shit......I'm always in search of more sounds.....especially drums. You can never have enough drums! Remember that. That's 1 thing that drives me nuts......hearing the same old drum sounds....like on the Triton for instance. If I hear another song with that same old snare/clap sound I'm gonna flip!
Anywayz......yeah mayn.....there has been alot of changes around SLR this year. Everybody is gone.......I'm startin' with a whole new roster. Right now it's.....

I have also just worked out a deal with Dividenz to release their album and my boy Skuntdunanna just left Sea-Sick and will most likely join SLR. Dividenz will probably offically join SLR soon as well....but we'll see. We got a real nice roster goin' with all them cats!
Next album to drop for sure is Sarkastik's "No Gimmiks, No Image, Straight Lyriks".....hopefully by Jan-Feb. We only have 2 more verses to record.....but my studio has been down for almost 3 months due to me moving and construction at my new place. We'll also be droppin' Skunt's album......Dividenz album....and the Street Poetry Vol. 1 compilation is coming as well. I'm still tossing the idea around of making it a double CD....that would make me the first person to drop a double CD around here!

I'll tell you right now. A TON of stuff Timbaland uses comes off of sample cds. I've heard pieces in music from Dre to Tim to Trackmasters to Tone & Poke to the RZA to Mike Mosley, etc..
I'm constantly up in my sample cd archive grabbing new sounds. Some stay the same but I strongly support the idea of layering & making sure my sounds are 99%+ unique to me. Fuck all that being able to pick apart a songs and name all the sounds in it. Honestly, that's one of the first things I do when I hear new music and I can't stand it when I can name & place every sounds damn near down to the hi-hat. Especially if there's actual musical talent in the song. If you can play heat then why would you get lazy with your sounds?
In my opinion, the sounds you use are just as (and sometimes more) important as the way you use them!
