would you want me to spoon feed you?
Yes please. I don't wan't to waste the energy that is involved in moving my arm. In fact, I have a special computer program that types words when I move my eye balls in certain directions. I have a water IV connected to my arm. Nothing on my body moves besides my eyes. All I need is for you to feed me.

whats wrong with givin someone a lil history or insite on the watts riots ? no one got pissed off when tim c made the thread about ww2 and asked for other peoples opinion
I think if the poster would have asked a certain question and didn't basically ask people to do his homework he would have had more replies.

Personally, I am pretty ignorant on the subject.

I remember the riots, only to well. It was a cold night, much cooler then normal. I was in bed because I had to wake up early the next day for work. It was about 12:30am when I was awakened by the smell of gun powder and fire through the window of my second story apartment. Normally I would have fallen back asleep, but there was something peculiar about this, plus the light from the fire was so extreme that it slightly lit up my bedroom. I got up and opened my window to take a look outside and I could not believe my eyes. It took me a while to realize what was going on, but watching people trample over each other as they looted the streets was just jaw dropping. I saw police beating people in the streets, I saw citizens gang-beating police, rocks and boulders flying through store windows, and car's being robbed and burned. I was a little skeptical about looting any store myself because I have a relatively clean record, but I figured the cops weren't going to arrest all of us, so I decided to go! I put on some pants and a sweater and climbed down the ladder, this made for a much easier escape. All I could hear from chaos was sirens and gunfire, but the thought of raiding department stores for television sets and VCR’s (they didn't have DVD players back then) was overwhelming. I headed for the nearest electronics store (because my T.V. was small with no color) and much to my surprise there were still some left, so I grabbed one and quickly headed back to my apartment. Half way home I was confronted by a police officer who was screaming at the top of his lungs pointing his gun at me. I only had a second to think so I ditched the T.V. at his legs dropping him to the ground. He was yelling something about not being able to walk, so I kicked him in the temple because I wanted to make sure he was knocked out before I ran off. The T.V. was damaged so I left it behind and I wasn't about to go back for another. I climbed back up the stairs and just sat near my window watching people set the town up in flames. It was almost as if America was at war with itself. It was one of the most exhilarating experiences of my life, something I will not soon forget. I woke up the next day and people were still rummaging through stores picking up scraps left behind. Watts was a crazy place to be during these riots, just be thankful you were safe at home...

Actually I've never even been to Watts.
