I need some codecs...

Anybody know a good codec package without spyware? I need something to play my Shield Ep. 04 and I'm freaking out with out it... any help, much appreciated.

Find out which codec(s) you need to play the video. I dont recommend downloading "packs" as doing this may install codecs that interfere with another causing them not to work.

If you want to try and play the video without having to download codecs, I would recommend downloading VLC Player from: www.videolan.org. This player can play just about everything from videofiles to dvd video without having to download a single codec.

I'm gonna DL Video lan, thanks... I tried getting the individual codecs, but they didn't fix problem. Hopefully VL will work.
