alright, my boy came over to my house today to record. we record his verse, but when we play it back , the lyrics playback faster than the beat. it's like my computer recorded the voice quicker than it was originaly. it's not the program cuz i tried 2 of em and reinstalled em. i am stuck as fuck. n e one know what i can do? or what happened?

I ran into that problem myself. What you have is a file type transfer conflict.

Now I want to ask you, what programs are you using to record and such? That would help a lot if you mentioned that.

cool edit pro 2
and i tried magix
i deleted magix
i re installed cool edit

when i start my cpu somethin always comes up sayin if i want to download somethin but i didn't even download nothin. it comes up every time. u know how i can stop that?

I am not too familiar with the Cool Edit programs. And I have had that problem before.

[This is from my experience, there probably is someone that understands this stuff better than I do but here is how I can best explain it to you]

It all just comes down to weather or not you are using the same filetype for your recording perameters. Say for example your program records your vocals in a Wav format and you are using an mp3 for your instrumental. The program compresses the wav file to fit the size of the mp3 thus resulting in a sped up version of your vocals.

The programs I use are from the Sound Forge line. I reccomend any of their programs over Cool Edit since CE can get complicated and it also does not matter what file types you are using with Sound Forge since it all sounds equal.
