I need help identifying this old school jam

Okay, Im having trouble figuring ou this song. Its from around 86 I think and all I rember is the chorus being a high pitched guy singing:

It looks ridiculaous, but i know somebody knows this

Nahhh, I know it aint "Love's Holiday"... i know that song too well. But the song Im asking about, I did think it was Earth Wind and Fire, but if Im not mistaken, there was some dude rappin in it...I thought it was like Rodney O and Joe Cooly, it sounded like them. Very possible that the part I quoted was sampled from Earth Wind and Fire though
