^^^

I like San Jo 408 rap! I like the people and the atmosphere of San Jo, they all laid back and cool and not really that bent on tryin to impress the bay or nothin! They easy to talk to and their raps reflect that (well most San Jo cats I have met anyways)!

I dunno, San Jo never had the scene Frisco, Oakland and Vallejo had. I was diggin some of the Assassin comps back in the day though. I'm feelin some of the 408 cats like Game Insane and 2 Sicc though. I never heard any of your stuff yet 211, I'll have to check it out.

I got hella San Jose rap cds. Most of it is tight, but people outside of san jose cant feel it, cuz almost every rapper from San Jo are jsut talkin about the same shit (NSSJ, SSSJ, ESSJ, WSSJ or Killa Sharks) I mean its tight to put it down for were you at, but peeps in Oak, Sf and other bay cities aint tryin yo hear all that. San Jo has a lot of talent but most of them think that there block is all that matters, instead of being Universal with there raps.

But thats what makes every rapper unique. X-Raided, Lynch, C-bo and Doc all talk about South Sac and Garden Blocc but they're big names in underground rap. To me westcoast rap is talking about your real life, good and bad, and doing it with skills.

I don't buy San Jose rap just because I'm from there. Usually San Jo albums that I've seen have low budget covers and they dont draw my attention. Also, alotta of the beats on SJ albums sound plain. I bought that Young Life because it was packaged good and got good reviews here but it sounded to generic with the same typical rap themes with THUG all over the place. Dont like Assassin either, with the recycled songs.

Rappers Im feeling Gato Mas Loco off Cuete and Northern Ghetto Boyz, Full Clip, Young 211, Venom Loc, Killa Sharks was okay. Some stand out songs but some were weak like Chicano Conspiracy.

Probly the best album from San Jose is Full Clip Whos Riding.

Oh yeah, what happened o DJ EZ-Cut? He produce some classic songs on that album. Hes from Sea Side. They must have alot of talent out there because I heard that Sicc Side Comp and it was sick.

I take it back, the only San Jose album I've ever paid for was Gangsta Reese, "Full Metal Jacket"...I feel a lot of what he says on that album, especially the song 10 DAYS, and BACKSEAT RIDAZ, and I LOVED the last track. I was diggin 211 on that album, NIIIIIICE SPITS!!! We were bumpin that shit on the way back from L.A, just smashin down the 5 bumpin Reese Loc...

Rappers out here that I feel in a major way cause of some of their content are 211, Reese, JAZ (cat gets me amped when I hear his shit), and of course KillahMo and Uncle Jon....I feel playa rae as well...but I've only paid for that one album!!!!
