My point exactly...he was trash after he left Ren & Cube behind...lyrically...he was CRAP on the mic...I didnt label it "gangsta" rap cus that shit dont exsist no more...reality=hustlin,pimpin,loc'n up or whatever the fuck you may do on the daily to grind out shit in your hood...that term been around for years...cmon now...matter of fact..MC Eiht was the muthafucka who branded "gangsta" rap "reality" rap ...learn about it....and who is Complex???Becus one dude aint heard about it,it aint legit...lol....riiiiiiiiiiiight.....
The only reason i bring this up is becus ma and a sahab of mine got into a convo about Eazy-E(clamin he the hardest MC ever or whatever)...and this guy didnt know that Cube & Ren made his ass...i just thought it was funny..and i know alotta younger cats are in love with Eazy(RIP)...so i was just seein which of em knew that and which didnt...aint ghost writers just dandy???

Nigga, who is you! I was being sarcastic when I said "what is reality rap". Everybody thinks that their shit is reality. I hate when people put inaccurate labels on music. More than half of gangsta rap aint even reality, cause most of them niggas haven't did what they said they did or might do. That's why I disagree with the term reality rap. Alot of these niggas is just entertainers. It wasn't even all that serious for you to get bent out of shape over. I know my music homie, I'm 26 years old, grew up on the shit, nigga! Peace.

As for your Eazy comments, Cube & Ren and the rest of em did NOT make Eazy E. They did write some of his rhymes only because Eazy never wanted to rap. Eazy made all of them when he funded they broke asses. In fact, if it wasn't for Eazy, there never would have been an NWA. Cube was on his way to tech school, Ren (whom I have the sneaking suspicion had the DOC ghost writing for him) would have never been heard of and Dre would still be making love songs. Please believe it.

what made eazy a legend isn't exactly his rappin' ability. he acknowledged that he wasn't the best rapper. but it's the fact that he's the one who put compton on the map and that holds alot of weight. plus niggas liked how eazy carried himself. you could tell what he was about and that he was real. when you hear eazy's voice, you don't give a fuck how tight his lyrics are because it's eazy! only a few mc's have that effect. pac, chuck d, run, cube (even though cube is one of the best lyricist ever). you get the point. peace.

As for "Reality Rap" thats some BS term made up by the Source magazine. Nobody I know calls that shit reality rap.
