In the beginning
I left for San Jose without telling my mom i was using all the money i recently saved for an 8 day trip to go to a BBQ with people i met thru the Siccness, which my mom once saw a post on "Eating Babies" back in the day. Turns out i had forgotten a check i wrote and ended up overdrafting a lil bit; I payed it off and got on wth life until:
The other night i get in around 2:30am. I got a call from my mom. She was saying "It looks like youre bank card had been stolen! etc..." I call right up to see whats going on.
She asks where my cards at... i say in my wallet... she says "I opened your bank statement by accident and it looks like your getting ripped off across the country!"
I thought i was scared then.
She asks "did you buy a GIRL a Greyhound ticket for California" So im like "Yeah."
She says "She must have stolen your pin number. She took out money all across the country. She made a withdrawl in RENO, she bought dinner at Red Lobster, she Rang up a high bill at a Liquor Store in San Jose, she spent hundreds of dollars in bars in California!!! She walked all over you!"
I was like WTF... then i remembered all i used my card for was Liquor, Beer, and Sea Food, and i bought a shit load of these things during that BBQ weekend.
So i was like 'Ill take care of it'.
But heres the best part:
My mom says "This girl is obviously a drug addict & a gambler (the RENO withdrawl came to mind). Have you had sex with this girl? Did you use protection?" Im like "Yeah... (smiling but soundng serious) so then she says...
"A girl like this has a high risk of GIVING YOU A.I.D.S. "
"You should get tested, i can set up an appointment".
Im like 'No, im fine' she says "you may have AIDS or something else, and you should go to the bank and cancel your card before she spends more. Then we should get the AUTHORITIES involved."
So i was like 'I got this, Ill talk to her" and when i came to my moms tonight she asked if i did anything about it and brought up the AIDS thing again and i started laughing, so shes laughing too and we dont know why, well she doesnt know why, and then i said... 'Its okay i took care of it'. :eyecross:
