If i load a sample in the Triton... say I put in a horn sample thats like 3 secs long.

will the korg just sample it in that pitch, and be assigned to one key... or can I get to be on every 76 keys, with the whole range of octaves from the low left end of the keyboard, to the high right end of the keyboard... so I could play it live, and at chord changes...

does that make sence? side note... does it also keep the tempo, while changing the pitch?

this will probally make or break my decision of getting a Korg... or any other suggestions? very appreciated !

You can assign a sample to any key-range you want. The higher/lower the key from the root key, the faster/slower the sample will be played.

You can't time-stretch a sound very much before you hear a noticable difference in the sound itself so you wouldn't want to use just one sample for several octaves anyways.
