i got let go from my job yesterday for no damn reason..
been a temp workin there since may..i would say from may to august i was late several times and missed 4 days..my agency checked me on it and my new supe at that time..so i was like ok i'ma change..from august until now..i only missed ONE day, and was late once..came to work on time, breaks lunches all of that..so my agency gone get a email yesterday sayi rasan ain't be adhering to his breaks and lunches, and my performance was not good. WTF?!
i was a customer service rep at a health insruance company..
my girl work with me too and she got written up too for being 4 minutes late from her break, 4 WEEKS AGO!!!!!! and she barely got her write up yesterday...
i get off work at 6..so at 5 some due gone come to my desk to get my computer..i didn't know what he wanted. i was like,"ha i guess they fired me and ddin't tell me." we laughed and he went away..6:30 i get a call from my agency that they let me go..even she said it was weird..i'm sad tho but i'll be ok

Sorry to hear that rasan, but welcome to the club. And Unemployment is the shit!
I got laid off technically two days ago, but I went on vacation the week before. Charging it to the game Muwhahaha

i feel the pain homie, i was fired from my one job for tardiness, i never pulled a no-call-no-show, towards the end tho i was burnin those sick days for being hungover, then i get this other position being a telemarketer shortly after and a month later everyone walks in and the manager was like we shut shit down, I guess I'm not surprised tho we were all yappin and bullshittin. so I finally found a job doing life insurance which hopefully will be a reliable job. ive been a broke ass muthafucka for a minute but things are looking up for the 06'
p.s. i heard bayridaz is gonna revamp their site so hopefully things will get poppin over there again rasan peace

They probably dropped you because the relation between you and your girl. Businesses are iffy like that, they most likely won't hire you if you know someone or are related to someone who works in the same environment at the same business.

Plus it's a temporary job through an Agency I don't see why you are so suprised?

^^^i'm surprised cuz everything was goin cool ya feel?
but they droppin permanent employees for no reason too..
they fired this one sista cuz she was takin too much time off..she got in a car accident, totaled her car, had no trasnportation to work, had 3 kids..and they let her ass go...
but yeah i understand me being temp means they can drop my ass if they don't like the shirt i'm wearing that day

I ain't knockin' a cat working a legal 9-5 job but I am wondering what a grown man is doing working for a temp agency and/or customer service.

You're a grown man, you need a grown man job anyways so it's probably a blessing in disguise.

make a long story short, i used to work in insurance as a claims rep...some personal things happened..I worked at GEICO..i tried to go back but they do credit checks and my credit ain't that good..so i am just tryin to pay off my debt so i can go back..
my girl sister tryin to get me into AAA insurance though..so we will see
and what exactly is a grown man job?
i was gettin paid decent money..a job is a job..as long as its enabling me to maintain my life..i don't see nothing wrong with it...
