One of my homies was talking a bunch of shit to this bitch online. she has no idea who it is. But my homie and her talk on the phone all the time. He was playing a little game Anyway She told him about this guy and she said she was going to go to the police station and shit. Can and will the police do anything to find where my homie is? Or will the police even do anything for shit like this? Thanks

The IP can be tracked........as to whether or not the police will get involved, I guess it depends on that particular county's statutes. If he was threatening her and she saved whatever he typed to her it may get him in trouble; then again it may not.

Not too long ago I think it was made illegal to threaten someone's life online and shit. So it really depends on what your homie was saying. But if anything the police will contact the ISP and get your friend banned from the internet.

She prob didnt do shit...sayin she will was just her attempt to get him to stop and scare him off (and i guess it worked)...but just talkin shit aint illegal (freedom of speech) and she coulda blocked him...so it's her fault so I wouldnt even worry about it

They only really go after internet conversations where they threaten you with physical harm or death. I know someone who got into some problems for internet shit. He got off, but not everyone does.

I did 6 months @ Keefer when I was 16 for fucking around talking shit over the net. They take this shit seriously, depending on what exactly was said and if the person you said it to saved the proof that you aid it or not (The Conversation).
