I downloaded a shitload of Patches for my MS2000, but...

I don't know how to transfer them from the computer, DO I need a program like soundiver? or can i do it through Cubase?

Help a stoner out here!

Yup. Most software that has midi can do it these days actually. It's technically a SysEx dump. You just have to make sure that the patch you are trying to dump is really for the gear you are dumping it to. Believe it or not there are some people out there who think you can pull a patch off say a JV-5080 and dump it into a triton. LOL!

Yeah, they are all Sysex Files, I downloaded them all from a MS2000 site. The Cubase Manual Doesn't specify Whether it does data Dumps or not.

Ps. I guess I didn't actually say HOW to do it. In cubase just point the track with the patch data on it to the module you want to dump it to and make sure your module is set to receive sysex. You might be able to go into cubase's midi-editor and do something like 'transmit sysex data' or some shit too. I don't know off hand without loading the cubase up.

Or just get a patch librarian or any of the several little sysex dumping programs out there. The "Sound Diver" patch librarian you mentioned is pretty nice. Midi Quest does a good job too.

Yeah I have Soundiver, Just never Figured out how to set everything up,I've used it at my school before. Ima try to do it in Cubase, I'm gonna try to avoid puttin' Soundiver back on my Comp, I want to keep my hard Drive pretty Clean
