After spending a bit of time in Sonora and Redding, I have come to the conclusion that white people should not work at fast food restaurants.
Why? The answer is simple.
Filipino fast food workers - many are FOBs with low chance of substantial career advancement. However, the quality of life afforded them even by a fast food job probably supercedes that of their native experience in the Philippines, or the prospect of not having a job at all. Thus, they are more likely to clean up their workplace, wash their hands, put some modicum of effort into their job, etc.
Mexican fast food workers - Many of the same rules apply. Average wages in Mexico usually hover around 5 dollars per day of labor, whereas even at McDonalds they can make 6 dollars an hour. For the most part they are friendly, accomodating, and cheerful. I also suspect that they take hand washing and sanitation at the least somewhat seriously.
White fast food workers - They look like they are about to pick and eat a booger as soon as no one is looking. They generally move very slow, drool/dribble, have unkempt hair and clothing, a bad attitude, and I wouldn't doubt if they, male or female, spend a decent amount of time scratching their pubes. It seems if you are white, and you end up in the fast food industry, your life instantly becomes an existential hell, forcing you to drag your limbs like a zombie, pay no mind to manners, and generally look and act like a slob. You may even develop buck teeth, missing teeth, or generally profuse infections of oral herpes simplex. They all desperately hate their jobs, and I seriously wonder if they are even concerned about hand washing, germs, etc. I could even see a few of them thinking it is funny to hock loogeys in peoples food, or wipe their ass with it. If I see a large amount of white people in a fast food restaurant, I usually think twice about ordering anything more than a soda.
