I realized lately, that i need to start hatin more...

cus everyone keeps being nice...and respectful...and in this atmosphere, wack emcee's think it's okay to drop wack albums...

can you imagine these bullshit albums droppin in 94?

these weakass rappers are taking sales away from the bay rappers that should be getting sales straight up.

if somebody decides to take a chance on a cd from the bay and it's garbage like most of the shit out here is then they might stereotype the bay with that weak cd.

I dunno about all that... I doubt anyone will pick up some random CD then stereotype the whole area on it...

If an artist is weak they won't survive, you can't keep dropping album after album of garbage unless there's an audience for it... And if they have enough of an audience to keep going then they should keep going... They've earned it...

It's natural selection, the bullshit will die off eventually.

maybe not base a whole area on it, but with more choices out there, people night spend their money on bad albums instead of good ones, which may cause them to be more skeptical when they buy. If every album you buy is tight, you will probably buy more albums. but if most of the shit you buy is garbage, you will be less willing to buy music

ya that new WSC was right on. I liked everything about it. It's far from the tightest album i've ever heard, but the way they went about it made me love it. they were representing the fuck out of the west coast while riding on all that other bullshit out there. It stood for things that I believe in. No bullshit features. Hardly any features at all in fact.

But there's a reason why artists keep putting garbage out, someone's buyin that shit.

What we need to do is put a better product out there.
Dope sells itself, the fiends will comin runnin at you if you're selling higher quality goods.
