Dana White and a couple well known fighters call Bruce Lee the Father of MMA. what do you all think?

I am a huge Bruce Lee fan. Many people think Bruce was not a real fighter and more of an actor.
But these clips they show of his demonstrating his style is very neat. Some rare clips they have of him in here too.....

its hard to call someone the father of MMA because theres no footage of him in real combat. a matter of fact, i got a friend who said his uncle saw Bruce Lee get his ass whooped by some black dude at a bar. but as for his philosophies in martial arts and life, he was ahead of his time. if there was anyone that contributed to martial arts more than ever, Bruce Lee would be that guy.

Sounds similar to that show Bruce Lee Lives. I have loved Bruce Lee's theory's for years and I'll check it out.

As time has gone on, I suspect that maybe he couldn't actually fight as well as was believed, but his theories on fighting revolutionized it. He had crazy skills in a lot of areas and immense speed and strength.
