i know some of you dont give a shit but i thought id share anyway...

while i was in Hawaii last week (Jan 5 - Jan 12 2007) i hit up this club and ALOT of the people there were actin as if they were from the Bay. people were poppin their collars, giggin, turfin, and gettin hyphy with their thizz faces on. everytime they played a Bay song people RUSHED the dance floor. the MC (some dude that calls himself Rick Rock) was shoutin out "Get Hyphy/Get Stupid/Go Dumb" all night. they only played "Tell Me When To Go", "Super Hyphy", "Blow The Whistle", "U and Dat", and "Give you What You Want" but had to play them twice cuz people were requesntin it all night.

the other days while i was in the Honolulu/Waikiki area i saw alot of the locals sporting Bay Area shirts. everywhere i went people were bumpin Bay music in their cars. when i went to the flea market over there they had a couple shirt stands selling some Mac Dre and Hyphy/Go Dumb shirts. The people that own those shirt stands said the Bay Area shirts are their best selling products.

HYPHY is BARELY spreading in different places around the world and the people are lovin it. more labels just really need to open their eyes and start signing more Bay rappers and really promote their shit the right way

Yeah, that's Zanzabar... Rick Rock Productions does other clubs as well. I haven't hit up the clubs in a hot one, but they be gettin' hyphy. They do Pipeline too, last time I was there hella foos were sportin' stunnas and giggin'. I know they got they the lower parts out here, but there ain't no hoods. Yeah though, Mac Dre, Yukmouth, B-Legit, E-40 and other bay area rappers have done shows out here, too bad I didn't get a chance to peep any of 'em. I don't list to the radio much, but they got some hyphy shit on there... one time they had a guest dj from SBC DJ's and he was playin some bay shit cuttin it up and peeps were hella feelin' it. The radio show out here are kinda lame and they don't be mixin out here.

I'm from the bay, but I'm living here in Hawaii for a min. The club your talking about is Pipeline Cafe , Rick Rock presents "HYPHY FRIDAY" EVERY FRIDAY NIGHT. People are really supporting the Bay here in Hawaii. E40 and Mac dre are hella big out here too, the whole thizz catalog sold very well at Tower Records.

Yeah I been livin here for a bit too. Too bad Tower is goin outta business. They had some bay shit, but not everything. As far as the Thizz Catalog, it's good they sellin, but there ain't nothin comin out hard from them. Not sure if any place sells em out here, but they need to get some Hyphy Juice or 18 Dummy.
