I'm not christian either, but it's basically the end of the world according to them. Like Jesus floating around and the good people flying up ( body and all ) into heaven. And the rest of us motherfuckers burning on earth as hell takes over it. Or so I believe. Someone can always correct me, but as far as I know, I think it's when the Four Horsemen show up and run around. And God hath his mighty wrath upon thee and thy peoples who sin.

Rapture = made up. The term didn't even exist before the 1950's I believe.

I *had* been under the impression that it was a christian ( but I guess not across the boards of christianity) belief that the end of the world would be like as I described. But that's just going on the conversations that I've had with extreme christians. I was wrong, so I shall research it further.

All your jello molds, porcelain saucers, and tupperware would simply vanish into thin air...your casseroles, your dinner parties, essentially your lives, would be stripped out from under you. Just some shit to consider.
