When this particular scene came on I was like "This my shit". I felt that nigga energy, it was the most defining part of the whole movie to me. As a rapper you had tah feel this. You in yah homie's studio/bedroom and the beat is slappin' and you on the mic killin it and EVERYBODY in the house is like DAMN! You remember this screne when that beat first start hittin' when you was in the theater? God Damn!!! In 2005 I modeled my Hustle @ Flow Awards after the feel of this moment.
I remember it was in San Leandro and it was my first ever show I had thrown. My Dj was Dj-X1 from KPOO 89.5FM out of San Francisco. When the place started to pack in, around 11pm, X1 put this song, Whoop That Trick, on and the club went bananas. This movie been my anthem for the longest, I'll never stop pushin. I wonder if anyone else eas affected by this movie to that degree?
