He's from Missouri..lol,even worse

WhOregon demolished....and I mean D-E-M-O-L-I-S-H-E-D..the best team in the Midwest (Colorado Big 12 Champs).Miami was the best team,no doubt. But Nebraska sucked,Colorado was embarresed....Who is it that you root for?I'll murder you on sports knowledge...know that!

Washington was beating Texas's ass by 24 in the second half, till they found out we have a retarded cornerback (Massey)??barely lost.

Washington St. handled midwest??oooh ohhhhh oooh Purdue

Pac 10 beat Michigan Miami Texas Wiconsin ...so called elite programs in the last few years...

That is what I call being "exposed". Fact is...they lossed.

The Pac 10 has done nothing consistent in years comrade. In 7 years...7 different Pac-10 teams topped the conference. Who else does WU really have besides Reggie Williams? The offense is dreadful. Defense? Besides the linebacking unit the "D" is full of holes.

Don't get it twisted, I've always digged WU...but they need some newcomers to step up. An 8-4 2001 record really doesn't get me too juiced to talk about Top 10 rankings in the nation when they can't even win the conference.

I agree..BUT,I do feel Pickett will come thru this year. When you rack up 455 yards of offense with a seperated shoulder...you doin somethin right. And with a new backfield this year,im eager to see how we start runnin the ball...

But what does that tell you about the conference? That at any given time, the Pac-10 can rip the scene with any given team.7 different teams to you may sound inconsistent....but that shows we got talent from top to bottom in the conference..

And further more...fuck Miami...my Noles are comin back this year...and Mr.Bowden is HEATED!!!!!!!!!

Bro-ham... Pickett is a big "IF" in my book right now. IF he is healthy...then yes he can contribute. But they have no receiver opposite of Williams so he can be doubled up & taken away. The run game? That is a HUGE "MAYBE". Please don't tell me you are counting on Rich Alexis to carry the load. Ol' boy only average like 3 yards a carry.

As far as your theory on 7 teams of talent....At any given time depending how ANY college recruits, a team can have talent. If it doesn't mesh together it means nothing. Talent & consistency in a program are in two different bins. If a college cannot consistently (there is that word again) piece together a top team...that is not what I call a threat to anyone. Compare it to music. Would you rather have a one hit wonder or a string of 5+ SOLID, decent selling releases?

It is all in opinion.

I feel that..but what i was tryin to get at with the 7 dfferent...that means that all these temas are goin 10-2,9-3 or 8-4....the Pac-10 had more top 25 teams the year before than any other conference...we aint to be fucked with.

And Alexis is filthy, but he needs a good fullback in front of him for just that one block..and ha can break legs.Enter Tui's lil bro who has moved from Linebacker to FB,and they say hes a natural at that position.Youre right, its all "ifs" and "maybes" for EVERYONE right now...shit look at the Gators...they got a pre-rank of i think 4 or 5?With no Spurier? Will see....all I know is that my favorite sport to watch(that bein NCAA Football) is startin soon...and im just excited to have it back...

Your statement is ALMOST accurate...the SEC had 5 teams and 2 other conferences had 4 teams along with the Pac 10, so the "more" part is hardly appropriate.

Big East (Miami, Syracuse, Virginia Tech, Boston College )
Big 12 (Texas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Colorado,
Pac 10 (Oregon, Washington State, Stanford, Washington)
SEC (Florida, Tennessee, LSU, South Carolina, Georgia)

I was using the end of the season polls....if you were referring to the whole season throughout you may be right but I believe the Big 12 had 7 teams that were ranked in the top 25 last year if you go week by week

they had the same amount as the Big 12 which is 4 teams.....the only difference was that the Big 12 had all 4 teams in the Top 10 at the end of the season.
And?The Big 12 is EXPECTED to have that many teams up there..they are the premier conference in the country...most folks dont even pay attention to the Pac-10...

and if you wanna get REAL technical...Pac-10 schools have more championships under their belts than ANY other conference(and this includes ALL SPORTS...not just football)...

But we could sit up here and argue all damn night about this and that...it remains dormant until the season starts...so well see what happens...

I've never liked Florida...I've always been a 'Noles fan for as long as I remember. I'm interested in seeing how Florida's offense operates without Spurrier.

& Grim...folkizm...the Big 12 is not what it was. I mean...what happened to Colorado? I was a HUGE Buffs fan when the likes of D.Hagan, E.Bieiemy & M.Pritchard, Biekert, Figures etc etc graced the grass, but where they at? Nebraska is only surviving on tradition as far as getting those rankings & respect. The Sooners...garbage... Iowa St? The only reason anyone ever even heard of their football program is because of Troy Davis rushing for 2 geez on the turf. Texas Tech...the only thing they got going for them is some tight unis (thank the all black color scheme)...but they play....garbage. Oklahoma? Despite their 11-2 record...they are now unsettled @ QB. Now Texas...they got squad...but that is about it. 2-3 teams out of 12 hardly make the Big 12 a threat COLLECTIVELY.

yeah Colorado had a huge down time after lossing Westbrook, Bienemy, Kordell Steward and those guys.....but where are they at now you ask? they finished in the top 10 last year and are ranked preseason in the top 10 this year.....

Sooners finished in the top 10 last year and are preseason top 10 this year....I agree with the QB position, they couldnt move the ball on offesense las year worth a shit, they had the receivers and still do but no one to make the passes down the field.

Iowa State....garbage

Texas Tech....garbage

Texas.....they are ranked high now and were at the end of last year but they will fall on their face....dont get me wrong I am a HUGE texas fan but Simms ISNT GOOD.

I dont understand how you say that they arent a threat collectively when they had 8 teams in bowl games last year....I mean 8 out of 12 teams to me is pretty good in my opinion.

I say that because teams like Kansas St who went 6-5 overall (3-5 divisional play) got into bowl games along with Iowa St, A&M & Texas Tech getting in with a record of 7-4 overall & they all were 4-4 division! I think there are just too many bowl games now. A team can barely break .500 & get into a bowl? Ridiculous.

Oh yeah, my bad about CU, I was thinking about the 2000 season?...I was slippin' on that one.

I dunno though folks...the Big 12 (when it was the Big 10) was DOMINATE. Nowadays...I just don't see them as the powerhouse Conference. But then again...who is?
