Basically, GHETTO HEISMAN is dope. It's more mainstream sounding production-wise, but WC is essentially the same offbeat, entertaining G he's always been. It doesn't go far enough to be a classic the way THE SHADIEST ONE did, but you won't be wasting your money if you like Dub AND if you like the old-style L.A. street vibe of the late 'eighties and early 'nineties (I do).
Best tracks, IMHO include "The Streets" (with a wide-awake Snoop!), "So Hard" (with the always reliable Scarface), the drug story "Let's Make A Deal", "Walk" (with Cube and Mack 10), the slower-paced "Something 2 LIve 4" and (especially) "Wanna Ride" (with Ren and Cube). Right now, I'd give it about a 3.5/5 (which is good), but I could later upgrade that to 4/5 assuming that more of the tracks grow on me. PEACE!
