Basically, GHETTO HEISMAN is dope. It's more mainstream sounding production-wise, but WC is essentially the same offbeat, entertaining G he's always been. It doesn't go far enough to be a classic the way THE SHADIEST ONE did, but you won't be wasting your money if you like Dub AND if you like the old-style L.A. street vibe of the late 'eighties and early 'nineties (I do).

Best tracks, IMHO include "The Streets" (with a wide-awake Snoop!), "So Hard" (with the always reliable Scarface), the drug story "Let's Make A Deal", "Walk" (with Cube and Mack 10), the slower-paced "Something 2 LIve 4" and (especially) "Wanna Ride" (with Ren and Cube). Right now, I'd give it about a 3.5/5 (which is good), but I could later upgrade that to 4/5 assuming that more of the tracks grow on me. PEACE!

I thought the album didn't have enough Battlecat production like Shadiest One. 'Tears of A Killa' is a great track. Basically, you won't be wasting your money getting it, as WC has some of his best flows on this album, but there are some wack beats on there. One of the better albums released last year...

Walk, Wanna Ride & Bang Loose made the album for me...Dr. Stank ripped his verse on Bang Loose and Ren tore up Wanna Ride...Dub rode the whole album nicely...only one skipper on the whole thing...slept on album for damn sure...

The mainstream-ness of the production kinda ruins the CD. Dub C sounds better over some underground Gangsta tracks. I think this one sounds a little too polished. Its still worth swoopin up tho, Bang Loose is my fav track on the CD.
