i mean....

do yo want it to be more of the dark, rough rugged, gangster gutter shit?

more bouncy type of shit like?

funky shit?

i want him to hook up wit slip, ant banks, ski, battlecat...

but from what spice told me the other day, he hasn't been in contact wit banks lately.. i gave him ski's number to get back in the studio wit him.. hope it works out.

i'll be interviewin spice 1 pretty soon.. so I'll be makin a sepparate questions thread for that..

but for now, just say what you await from this record.

He should make the album with only one producer: Ant Banks. I don't know how Ant Banks sounds nowadays but I'm sure he produce the best beats for Spice-1. Is there anything new comiung out by Banks?

I want to hear that 187 Gangsta bangin' shit again...that bouncy bullshit don't fit his style to me....187 He Wrote is an all time classic cd and still gets rotation to this day...

SPICE1 will always be able to rap, hes gifted.......its his production on the last couple of albums that have been killing him!

if he had some hot production like his first four albums..then he would be untouchable.........yeah i think he should hook with easki,

that would be a great combo......or maybe SEANT, DUNCE, D.PEETE, ICY MIKE, TAZ FUCK IT....its time cats start netwroking

instead of trying to take the easy route......but sometimes thats all we can afford!

Spice 1 was my favorite rapper when I was growing up. I think his first few albums where so tight because he always brought no producers on there. First E-A-SKi and CMT, and Ant Banks, then Blackjack, then Paris, Ric Roc. Its just unfortunate that his last albums were on shitty labels that didn't support him, so the beats were half assed. On Spiceberg Slim I listened to the first half and thought it was great, but then the rest of the songs were either recycled from The Playa Rich Project 2 or just wack. "The Last Dance" was tight it was just too much of a compilation to really be considered a Spice 1 solo album.
On his new album he got Battlecat and a producer named Trevor Lawernece Jr. If you go to www.xtralaced.com (Spice 1's new label) you can here 6 songs of the new album. It sounds pretty tight, but it has a definete funky sound, and liked it better when he was more gangsta, but either way I'm still gonna cop his new one.

P.S. That would be sick as fuck if he collaberated with E-A-SKI again.

The last good work from Spice 1 was that 1990-sick and I didnt feel those 6 new traks...Damn why is so difficult to produce tight beats for one the most heated rapper ever ? Spice 1 need to bring that MOB SHIT music he used to make before...simple as that !!!
