Well.....maybe because they're doing things like Smack DVDs and such, WITHOUT sitting around and waiting for people to throw money in their face and give them nationwide distribution ahead of time. Maybe because they realize that SOMETING (LOW/LIMITED-quality though it may be), will ALWAYS be better than NOTHING.

But hey, maybe i'm wrong. Maybe all it will take is 10 hot albums, 0 Clue/Flex/Whoo Kid-style Mixtapes and 0 DVDs, and suddenly the majors will come storming in demanding to sign acts and the people will start flocking to the concerts. Maybe some random-ass Trick Daddy or Nappy Roots feature will take us to the next level!
