Don't know if this has ever been posted before but it's some shit everyone with Comcast needs to know.

First off you can only do it wit the premium channels that offer previews (HBO - Starz - Cinemax). Find either a movie or sports event or anything you want to watch that has a preview option in the menu. Watch the preview of that movie or what ever and at the very end when the screen goes black wait a few seconds then hit okay (watch now). If it says "one moment please" at the top for a couple seconds then kicks you back to the original menu screen with the preview button again wait a few seconds then it will say "one moment please" at the top again and a few seconds later your movie will begin. If you don't hit "watch now" at the right second it will kick you back to a different menu screen that doesn't have the preview button. So you'll have to try it again.

I've been doing this for a couple months now and I've never been charged. I even know a guy that called comcast and told them about it and he said that they said it was a glich and to "enjoy". It will take a while to get good at but after you do it's pretty bad ass getting to watch all those movies and shit, basically almost everything that those channels offer. Some movies for some reason won' have the preview button but most do, and only those channels I listed above will have the preview option.

No, really it does work. You just gotta wait like 3-6 seconds after the screen goes black and the preview is done. I've been doing this shit for a minute and it works all the time.

As for what DJ Mark 7 said...Like I said a co-worker called Comcast and they said it was a glich and to enjoy. Maybe they will charge me but fuck how bad could it be? 3 months of HBO-Max-Starz is like 20 bucks.

Anyone try it where it actually works? I just did it and it worked.

Maybe it's in certain areas. :devious: or maybe depends on your comcast box. I know there's different models. My grandma's is super old but we still manage to get HBO on there even though she's not signed up for it (but not using your technique)

atnt got every channel ritt now for less than comcast and u still get on demand http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/U-verse
That's what I install. I'm a U-Verse premise technician. The service is pretty good, but they made it hella hard to hack. It's all IP based.

Downsides are 4 streams. Meaning you can only watch 4 TV's at a time
1 HD stream per household. Meaning you can only watch HD stream at a time. And only 1 DVR per home

The ups you record 4 Standard Def shows at a time. Web remote lets you program recordings online to tell your DVR to record. You can play games on your TV as well as access some internet content. :knockout:
