the new BIG cover is one of the most original ideas ive seen on a major label cover in ages.......anybody have any ideas how the fuck they did it?

If you look at it real close for a minute on the details, it looks like a heavy layered contoured collage of accurately positioned cut and pastes of different things meshed in with everything. Like the music notes/sheets up the left jaw to his ear.

I don't think it was done off of the digital screen but I think some of the pieces they used were pieces of real artwork, like maybe water painting on the red areas.

yeah its definitely a mix of collage with some computer graphic elements, most likely photoshop since its so layered, but probably illustrator, not sure.. who did that?..
