I took the Whole Music Technology/commercial music program at my local Community college, I have recieved my certificate. I learned a lot of good info, but I've learned more on my own than from there. You can never learn too much, I'm always pickin' up new info and techniques mostly through magazines.
My education never stops

I went to the Conservatory Of Recording Arts And Sciences here in Tempe, AZ. I would'nt know most of the shit I was doing now if it wasn't for the school. But if you take classes make sure to put it to use. You learn a hella lot more from real world experiences....I've been doing things for a few years now, and I don't think I'll ever stop learning new things...Education is good, but u gotta do something with it...

I started DJing in 1989.....started makin' beats & recording in 1990 and learned it all on my own. Nobody taught me shit....mostly because I didn't know anybody else that was doin' it. I think it's better that way though....it helps you develop your own style.

In 1997 I decided to go to college for audio engineering (mostly for legal reasons).....but I pretty much already knew everything by then. I got more business knowledge out of it than anything.
