Just something I've been wanting to say..

I've heard a few remarks in regards to the "lack of quality" in this forum. Exactly what does that mean? Personally I think the only thing this forum is lacking is some of the people that used to post in here such as Tenkamenin, FoeTwin, Deep Thought and others, but as far as I'm concerned that is not a reason too look down. We have "new" people on here who are adequately bringing us great feedback and insight. 2-0-Sixx is moderating and less people are getting banned. HERESY is no longer gathering names of people to dismember at the BBQ. So what exactly is the problem? Is it the lack of tension?

The fact that there are some dimwitted "new" users to this forum (regardless of when you registered) does not take away from anything in my opinion. This is a part of what makes this forum. Think back years ago it was no different. This place was practically run by Pro-American, Pro-War advocates who picked fights with anyone they could. Without these people it would just be a big circle jerk where everyone agrees with one another, taking away from good conversation/debate.

We are still discussing many of the same issues with new people, which is fine, and things have become less racial, but everything is fine as far as I'm concerned. I know there are a bunch of people who come in here just to read and never even post, so that in itself says something. Anybody have anything to say or care to shed light on the subject? Perhaps I'm missing something. Or maybe some of you have suggestions?

Do we need a vital poetry/essay thread or sub-forum?

Post.

I agree with this man 100% (LOL@dismembering people)

Also, let me add to your words of wisdom. A lot of the reasons why we have the same topics can be attributed to these topics being ongoing. The Iraq war is a prime example. We have a gazillion threads devoted to it because something new pops up at least four times a day. Do we have a lot of religious debates and topics? Yes, and this is because people may have a genuine interest about "god" and "religion". I've learned a lot from people in this forum. Some things I've read I probably would not have read as soon as I did (thanks to seeing it here) and some things I didn't think I had an interest I now have an interest in after seeing it here. I think what drives this forum more than any other is the fact that we have a strong core group who make contributions AND the fact that people aren't going to let you get away with just saying anything that comes to mind. I enjoy this section of the board, most of my posts are made here, the mods are doing outstanding jobs, and I haven't had to dismember anyone so its all good. :dead:

I don't know, I don't care. More people are waking up to the fact that the black race is basically doomed, and the fact that I can do something like that, and STILL travel ACROSS THE NATION get recognized at NOT have ONE person threaten me or harm me says several things.

So why the dead face?

For me, and this is not the fault of the forum or any of posters, the discussions seem to move at opposite extremes, either too slow or too fast. When things are slow it seems like the same topics are being recycled and discussed ad nauseam, and when things are too fast, it is impossible for me to keep up with the number of new posts in a hot thread.

I would like to see more people here and more unusual topics discussed. For example, I enjoyed it when Heresy created the thread about slavery reparations, something that is not in the news everyday.

That's good. Most people dismiss poetry because they say it's gay. This is likely because the poetry they have been exposed to is some sappy love shit. Although a lot of poetry is rediculously terrible and corny, ever so often I read a poem that completely gratifies me, or sparks something in my head.
