I was up $700 during the regular MLB season off a couple $50 bets then blew it all lol. I think a lot of these 'experts' inflate their records when it comes to calls they make and claim their system is the best. I've studied some basics from pros like wHIP over ERA for starters... and ball parks/weather wind factor.
The truth is, experts are very rare. Only ~1% of sports bettors are successful - these are the experts. This actually falls in line with other casino games. The key to any investment (what sports betting should be treated as if one plans to make money at it) is to have entrance and exit strategies and not to stray from what your guideline and operating procedure is, long term. That is my advice I follow, given by real sharps that never sold me anything. Cheers to good "karma" and being smart.
Baseball has A LOT of variability - it is extremely vital to have an algo of some sort if you are going to bet across the league on a pretty consistent basis, imo. Otherwise, it is def important to stay within a small tunnel of options that always have a push avail.
