So the man has won 9 rings...3 3-peats.But consider this.6 of those championships were with the Bulls...in which he had the BEST b-ball player EVER to play the game.A man that made damn near ALL his other teamates play better(even Pippen...oh yes its true)ANd if im not mistaken(which i might be)..Phil didnt win any rings while Jordan took his leave of absense(his FIRST of what will soon to be 3 retirements).THEN...he goes to LA...where you have one of the best young players in the LEAGUE...and the most DOMINATING player, over the last decade. So is Phil really good?Or is he only as GOOD as his players?

He is the best coach in the league. You still need good players but the man has got the touch for bringing out the best in his players. He is the only reason why I want the Lakers to win another title. He deserves the record for most rings.

He might not be good at building a team from scratch, but he can make a team that is supposed to win championships win championships. Until Phil Jackson came, Jordan had always been an underachiever. Phil Jackson knew what to do to make him win. Same thing with LA. He was the only one to be able to make Shaq and Kobe play together. He deserves at least that much credit.

He did what Doug Collins and Del Harris couldnt do. He took Jordan and Kobe/Shaq to the playoffs.

buhahaha!!!

***Back to the topic***

Phil Jacksons a good fuckin coach. He has CONTROL of his players, unlike Del Harris with the 98 Lakers. That team was BOMB as fuck, all they needed was someone that can have the team in check and someone that can guide them. And unfortunately bitch ass Dell Harris couldn't do that.

Dell Harris had Van Exel, Jones, Kobe, SHAQ. Horry, Blount, Fox, Fisher, Campbell. That was a championship caliber team rite there, and if Phil Jackson was coaching that team; they would of defenately took it. WITH EASE!!!

They had to fuck that squad up.

The Lakers werent exactly garbage, but they were getting swept out of the playoffs almost every year. Then this guy comes and they take the wole thing. Remember people, Jackson is the one who helped Jordan develope his game. Phil is probably the best coach to ever live, but ill have to agree with Purebred, we will never know for sure until he is put on a shitty team.

F'sho. When Harris was there w/ both Shaq and a yung Kobe, the Lakeshow were getting killed by teams like SA and Seattle. Then Phil comes in, helps develop Kobe's game, and the next 3 years are history.

Sicc_Wit_It: Not only that but Harris has Nick Van Exel and Eddie Jones on his team to help them. I would like to see what Jackson would have done with that team.

harris had trouble reaching his players, alotta players didnt respect him, shaq bieng one of them...when phil stepped up,everybody had to respect him having won all them titles in chicago...mike dunleavy was also a good coach but also had the same trouble connecting with his players...phil knows how to make things right on and off the court...if it wasnt for phil ,i think kobe and shaq would still be beefing.....
