How do you get paid from independent dvd sales?

like lets say a DVD like "Treal TV", "Philthy fresh" etc. that have hella label logos on the back.. how are all those labels eatin off that project? like is there an ascap or sumthin for film?

pretty sure a lot of the logos on there just mean that there are people from that label/company that participated in the DVD. doesnt mean they put it out

usually the only people that get money from the sales are the people that paid to put it out. everyone else normally just gets a payment for whatever they did to help. if damon jamal shot it and nothin else, he would be paid for his time and thats it

but theres dozens of ways that it could be worked out. i think its usually done that way though
