No more driver's liscense, bank cards, credit cards, identity theft. Just one big corporate or gov't entity w/ access to all of your consumer habits. Imagine, pull up to the gas station, get your eye's scanned, they debit your acct. and you've got a full tank...

Pro's, con's, or don't give a sh*t

have at it...

Sounds like something Communist and Socialist governments will go overboard with....and something that the United States, Canada, India, et al. will use merely for plane, government building, secured location type situations.

I don't see how this is any different than being fingerprinted and I've been fingerprinted more times than I would have liked. Both Retina Scans and fingerprinting are gay.

Yes, you get fingerprinted when you get arrested (or in some cases at banks), but you do not have to get fingerprinted or have retna scans to fly on planes or travel. What kind of world do you want your kids living in? "Hey little Johnny, it's time to get your eyes scanned, finger printed, DNA samples, chipped, probed and of course a cavity search today!"

Don't Immigrants traveling to the US have to get fingerprinted?
This doesn't seem any bigger of a threat to my personal freedom than fingerprinting. Perhaps in the evolution of 'printing' retinal scans are the new way to go about it but as of yet it doesn't seem to be harmful at all, although i do agree it can be used for evil!

It has numerous pro's & con's, I'm not sure where I stand on the issue. For example it would end identity theft (pro) who knows how corporate gov't will abuse/misuse the info (con)

It's a dilema which is a true dichotomy...
