its probably like a combo of square and/or sawtooth waves and just tweaked up, you can make a sound like that by fucking around with any synth for a little bit. its probably a preset from like a trinity keyboard, that was real popular at the time that song came out.

BTW Insanemixican did and do you get sample clearances for example the drums on the cube song you sampled or do you bite the bullet and hope you don't get called on it?

Thanks guys. I ain't got no hardware just VSTi synths, but actually wondering about the synthesis behind that lead. It's all good though, I'll fiddle around, I've come close.



BTW, INSANEMIXAKEN, that's a dope ass beat homie. And the reason I bring this all up is because I've been bumpin that N2Deep Golden State album as of late, shit bangs! I miss that kind of G-Funk shit. I wanna hear more beats like that.

I'm seriously sick of all the new kinds of beats bro. You know what I'm talking about, especially that dirty south sawtooth trance lead,etc.. I can't stand that stuff. You can't ride to that ish.

Need some more shit like your Lets Ride RMX. :cool: Good stuff right there, TRUE WestCoast beat.

That sample sounds good man. What track is that? i personally like that westcoast laid back style thats good for driving to and try to get as much of it as i can.

That track is from the "N2Deep - The Golden State" album. The entire album is dope as a matter of fact, sick beats and smooth lyrics. That's the kind of shit I like to ride to also. None of this Hyphy $hit.
