How do you connect the midi cord into your computer?

There is nowhere on my computer to plug the midi cord in from my keyboard... so what do I need to do / or need to buy to be able to plug the midi cord into my computer?

if you have a joystick port on you computer you will need to buy a joystick to midi connector

if your keyboard and computer have usb then you could use a usb cable instead of midi

and i have extras of both types......wink wink
