How do you clear RAM???

My computer been runnin slow as hell lately, and when I tried to install this program on my computer...it said that I didnt have enough RAM to install it. How do I clear up RAM?

Right-click on My Computer, click properties ( bottom of the list ). It should say how much memory at the bottom. The number won't say 128, 256, 512 etc. it will usually list something lower than the standard increments.

I meant clear enough to install a program. The program looks at what you have total in your system, not how much isn't in use.

You probably wont have any help with those programs since you have little ram; Depending on your OS its probably taking up most of it already to run it self let alone other programs. If you have windows XP try this out Right Click My Computer>Properties>Advanced>Performance>Settings>Visual Effects>UNCHECK all the boxes but Use Drop Shadows/Use Visual Effects/Slide Task Bar Options. Ight that will speed up your PC Significantly. Now go to Start>Run>Msconfig>Here you can uncheck all the shit that is loaded to run once you have started the PC. Make me a list of shit you have and i can tell you what you should keep there. LATERZ PLAYA
