Basically....you need a decent computer if you gone work with video files...well large files anyways. I got a punk ass p4 Celeron....which isn't really good for nothin I need to do. Anyone reading this who needs or is going to upgrade to a new pc soon should really look into a computer or laptop with a "Core 2 Duo" processor...just released a couple of weeks ago...now the fastest processor in the world. Don't confuse it with "Core Duo" or even "Dual Core" . This a dual core processor but it's the third generation...and it's smokin everything in it's way. And as a side note, you will begin to see prices fall on all the old stuff so there will be what seem to be great deals on laptops and computers...it's cause they tryna get rid of all the old processors cause Intel is going to oversaturate the market with the Core 2 Duo making it the norm and afordable at that. Just take a good look at the specs.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled program.

Or Athlon X2 or Opteron dual core. The Intel is faster but its not anything you can count on your hands or the avererage person will even notice. Bottom line is if you're getting a new computer make sure it uses one of AMD's dual core chips or the a Intel core duo. And at least 1GB RAm minimum and you'll be fine. Just don't get a Pentium D.
