how do i turn itunes into mp3?

Do you mean when you record cd's via itunes it won't convert to mp3? mp4 is a video file, you mean AC3 I believe. You can change the settings in itunes to have recorded cd's convert into mp3 instead of ac3, but I hear ac3 has better sound quality. Open up itunes and look in the menu somewhere, you'll find it.

chea good shit ima do that. the only thing is i dont have the cd anymore so i couldnt re-rip it onto itunes in mp3.

you can do it all in itunes. edit -> preferences -> advanced -> importing. on that screen you can pick mp3's and what bitrate you want. after you have that set to mp3's, just highlight all the songs you want converted and right click -> convert to mp3. the only thing is it leaves the originals behind so you have to delete them.
