or u can hit the PRTSC (print screen) key, then open up paint, paste the image, file n save as a jpeg.

or with windows 7, theres a tool called "Snipping Tool" in start>all programs> accessories

CTRL + V = PASTE INTO MS PAINT... VOILA .. THERE YOU HAVE IT

alt + print screen is the current program

print screen is your entire desktop

once you have that shit on your clipboard

open up paint... start -> run -> mspaint

hit control + v

then if you want to get just a part of that use the selection tool to cut and paste into a new image from there
