I have been in the South ever since the new year, now back in Minnesota. I almost shitted my pants when I saw this. I'm in a Tower Records store in MEMPHIS, TENNESSEE and what do I see? Nocturnal Rage & Ol' Dominion. HOW did this happen. I'm in a mainstream record store 2,000 miles away and I see that 206 up in there.
Also, I've been seeing albums from a group called Swollen Members all over in big stores (Tower, Sam Goody, Barnes & Noble, etc.). They are from Blaine, WA. How in the hell did two guys from Blaine, WA get a big deal (it looks that way anyway) and major distribution?
I was glad to see Seattle artists in there, but it kind of pissed me off b/c I know of so many 206 knockers that never will be in stores like that in other parts of the country.
WHAT is the story?
