If you have a seperate tape player that has it's own jacks in back , run it from there to your soundcard or audio interface . Usually it's RCA jacks in the back of a deck and 1/4 inch or 1/8 inch jacks on an audio card. Buy the converter piece that goes from RCA to whatever you have . You won't lose out on the Quality. Or you can make a copy of all the songs you need transfered and hit me up. I got a pro tools lab in SAC and have done many tape transfers. I could even put them to High Quality Mp3 using Wavelab 4.0. Let me know. Peace
