Rockets Get Bobby Jackson For Wells, James
Houston Chronicle - 02/21 - 1:24 AM ESTThe Houston Rockets are set to send Bonzi Wells and Mike James to New Orleans for Bobby Jackson, the Houston Chronicle is reporting.

The deal has grown into a three team trade, the report indicates, with Memphis being involved but not appearing to be a major player. The trade has been submitted to the league, pending approval.

The Rockets will also receive rookie guard Adam Haluska and either their own or New Orleans' second-round pick, whichever is greater.

Memphis will receive forward Marcus Vinicius.

I dont know why Houston did that. It didnt seem like Bonzi was causing the types of problems he has been known for causing (other than that weird time when he left the team cause he thought he was no good for them), but its good for NO.they get rid of their back up pg for another backup pg who is probably just about as good in James and they get a good scorer/rebounder/slasher in Wells. Makes them a little tougher.

^^Green is not as good as Wells right now but he will probably be at least as good or better when he peaks. Plus Green is a straight from HS guy and HS kids almost always take longer to tap into their potential than guys who spent even 1 year in college. His ceiling is still very high.

Well first off he hasnt had a bad attitude this year and when McGrady got hurt he balled! Also even at 9pt 5 boards, Green wont even do that!! Got Em!!

At any rate its gonna be great for Green practicing against McGrady every day. He is going to learn a lot to improve his game that way. In fact T Mac is the player he was most compared to coming out of HS.

You're right, comparison's don't necesarrily mean shit because they may or may not end up being as good/bad as the guy they are compared to but it usually does give you an idea of the type of game they play. And for Green to be practicing against a similar player who is an elite player can only benefit him. Maybe not immediately, but over time. In the long term this looks like a very good deal for Houston. As for Gordon's comparison, I've never heard the Hawkins comparison and that does seem pretty stupid. The comparisons I've seen the most are Mitch Richmond or a bigger, better Ben Gordon.

Yea those comparisons are a lil better cause he can shoot out of the gym, but he is way more athletic then those 2 and can jump out of the gym!! But yea well see how dude does!! Got Em!!
