Hottest Video Games out..??

..but I'm lookin' for the hottest 4-5 games out.. PS2 or XBox for my 11 and 13 year old for Christmas.. age appropriate for the most part.. but I was thinking one Football.. one Basketball or Wrestling.. a racing (which "Need for Speed Most Wanted" was a suggestion) and a shooting game..

No games with cartoon ass and tits... minimal swearing.. and no slitting of the throat or spilling of internal organs.. lol..

Suggestions..? I KNOW my Siccness folks know whats up with the video games..

Whats the difference between "Blitz the League" and "Madden 06"..? .. what type of game is King Kong?

Need for Speed Most Wanted seems like a for sure purchase..


I think we have that "True Crime" game.. and one of the Halos..

blitz the league is more funner and less realistic.u can brake bones and gettin in 2 fights,take steriods and shit like that. its funner. madden 06 is more realistic type game but less fun 2 me

My Lil bro is 13 and he loves that New Matrix game. The New Hulk & Spiderman games are tight too. Especially since the gameplay makes up for no gore! Great for the age group you're looking for.

fuck don't be lame and buy them sports games. if they want to play sports, make those kids go outside and play sports.

if you're going to buy a sports game get nba street (wichever # is the new one now), it's basketball, but it adds in some fun ass effects, and the rules are diffirent than nba shit.

for shooter, get call of duty 2, or the new medal of honor.

I don't know if it's there thing but Ys Ark of Naphitism if a good choice for kids, kind of like an old zelda.

OH weapons over normany or mech assualt are also some good choices.

.. lol @ dont be lame.. my sons are both athletes Camby.. football, basketball, wrestling, baseball.. I'm not worried that they need to go outside and play.

..they play the Football one the most right now.. and they like the GTA.. I know my youngest wants a new racing game and a wrestling game.. my older boy a new football game and a new shooting or racing game..

...and fatal frame 2 is also sick, it's a horror game but instead of blasting zombies, you capture ghosts in a camera. i know it sounds gay but it actually is fun as hell and the thrills in it aren't half bad. (it plays out like a movie, the whole family can be involved)

Good PS2 games are Soul Calibur 3, fast weapon based fighting game, no blood or gore, but excellent gameplay, Tekken 5, just a great all around fighting game, Shadow of The Colossus this one is a damn good game that also makes you use your mind in order to defeat the Colossus's, you're armed with only a bow and a sword and the Colossus's are massive creatures that you have to climb up and hit the vital points, lots of thinking involved in this game and again, no blood or gore.

XBOX games, Halo 2, must have, priod, Street Fighter Anniversary Collection. I grew up with Street Fighter, get this, classic gameplay and you can playonline too, Kung Fu Chaos, kinda old, but a fun ass game none the less, four player game with 3D enviorments, and you can watch your matches like a Kung Fu flick afterwords. Metal Slug 4, side scrolling action at it's finest, addictive as hell, classic arcade style gameplay, Darkwatch, old west meets vampire hunter flick, great shooting game that lets you choose your path, good or evil. And lastly, Samurai Showdown V, comes out next week, I grew up on this series too, 2D weapon based fighter with an excellent cast of characters and damn fine gameplay.

.. lol.. for real..? I dont mind some ass and tits.. I just dont want naked ass and tits or strippers being a part of the game my sons are playing.. or if I look up when Im doing dishes and the main character on the game is screaming profanity and slitting people's throats..


So who owns "Smackdown"..? is there naked boobies on that game..?

its the ONLY one i play, get him this if you only get one game.

5 time super bowl champion w 5 mvps under my belt on all madden, shits kinda easy now, i hold a monopoly on the lombardi trophy.

In looking at what my sons have and whats been talked about here.. I'm leaning towards Halo 2 (my son loved the first one), KingKong (checking it out online it looks dope), Need For Speed- Most Wanted, Blitz the League and Madden 2006 .. I'm thinking both of the football games.. only because Blitz looks mad crazy and my boys love the other football game we have..


Any other suggestions.. hollar dollar..
