Hotmail Users (stop spam...maybe)

i found this on another board....

If you login to your hotmail account and to the right of the " Address Book" tab is "Options" click on Options and then go to the first choice which should be "Personal Profile" Once in "Personal Profile" scroll all the way to the bottom and you will see that Microsoft has reset everyones mailboxes to "Share my e-mail address" and "Share my other registration information." Uncheck them and click "UPDATE"

i hope it works...i haven't tried it yet...

I think the only thing this will do, if anything, is stop microsoft from sharing your email with others...

I don't think it will really matter, and it won't stop spam, because once one company has your address, it shares it with tons of other companies... In other words, once it is in the system, you can't stop the cycle.
