I had Bo call cricet and steve vicious today.i like that chemistry.the reason im asking is becuz we are in the process of launching the new and improved WEST COAST MAFIA and i feel production is the first element we need 2 focus on...watch what we make happen with the right music...and if any producers need a tight young artist 2 work with hit me up so i can link u up with my oldest son and make some magic happen.thats him in the picture below.
thats a good look tay. steve and vicious are hella sick on the boards and are underrated as hell. been listening to cricets new production and im kinda blown away. bring that west coast sound back ..like what we need as a coast to me. funky west coast soundin shit u can ride and smoke too... they got that secret recipe for that west coast sounding funk we need back in the game... i know they fuck with bo..... actually bo came down to do a interview on the homies dvd, rap or die....i wont even go to specifics on how he moved during the interview but thats a real nigga right there..speaks what he talks about.

definitely make that connection work. youd sound good on some cricet/vicious beats. lookin forward to see what happens with that.

i agree with you. production is key..yall have the talent as writers and rappers but the music HAS TO BE on quality of your talent. so look out there for the best.

ill be payin attention you made some good points and i feel that. when the radio show is back up ill make sure ta keep you and ya son in rotation. much love.

also check out dam funk..it may be a little too instrumental for you but it may work out.
also madlib. lemme throw you two youtubes.

You should holla at Ampichino and ask him who he's been using on his last couple of projects they got heat. Since ya'll working together on an album I hope we'll be hearing you on that type of production anyway.

dam funk (from pasadena, majors in west coast funk shit)

[
madlib (la, doess all types of shit)

onra, comet

kankick

flying lotus (remixed jay d song 'fall in love')

all these people are form cali

jus gettin the ball rollin w diff producers but steve visious, perfect fit..run w that

i know your music is more on the mob/gangsta side w the beats but get them to do a beat where its funky but somethin to ride to and hittin hard with the drums and youd go sick on it. nothin this slow but u get what i mean production wise...cuz even bo had songs about sundays...like chill beats still on the mob shit lyrically

dj fresh is tight but theres HELLA people making the same types of shit..aim for a whole 'tonite show' mixtape if you do that..

i second oro but theyre using korgs like the kaosollator (ive been using it and doint the same thing they do on amps albums) to remix the album once the album is done. you can do that at home if you got a lil bread to invest

also check for 'royce on the beat' he fucked with dj fresh..he does alot of the now sounding shit, like the shit kids are goin dumb to but it aint corny..best heard on dlos tonite show

pakslap and steve vicious are two winners..peep the rest but id run with them two homie..and look into dam funk...he has some real sick instrumetal shit...i had alot of people GOING IN freestyle to his shit and these are street cats, pimps, etc..not your hip hop crowd.

they just love the smoothness in it. that wasnt damfunks best song so just youtube him and click a few.

u can find pakslap on twitter @pakslap he has a long and dope list of ppl he worked w in the bay and all his songs were hard..i did a little reserach cuz i really liked the beats and found out he was making almost all of em..

depends on whatchu lookin for.. and what direction you tryna go in. and you wanna fuck with some one that knows your previous work and knows how to take advantage of what worked and modernize it on some 2012 shit. Produce song ideas and maybe even have hooks, flow pattern ideas, and concepts already in place for you. and will be able to finish the record in its entirety with mixing and mastering.. you can either have a beat maker or a an actual producer!

funk daddy, mike mosely, sam bostic, tone capone, & soopafly...look at their track record...i dont know what they up to these days but they got straight knocks...oh yea...BOSKO & NONSTOP
He said PRESENTLY, not 15 years ago.
HA HA! Them cats'll STILL run circles around most of these New-Booty's!! You got's to realize that most of the top producers from the bay didn't stop producing cause they were no longer in demand, or cause they wasn't dope anymore. It's cause they were professionals who couldn't (or wouldn't) compete with FREE!!!!

K-LOU, everyday allday : production, recording, mixing... HIGH QUALITY PRODUCTION.
Old bay / New bay ...
Ask Pizzo about the slappers he got (but you already know that).

SEAN-T gots heat too. Same for BIG HOLLIS.

They all bring professionnal work.

same for STEVE VICIOUS & CRICET for the SD part.

I'll go with KEV KNOCKS (Bay) and TREALI DUCE (SD) for the new generation...

Quality production is what the bay is missing, too many self-proclaimed producers floading the market with wack music...

and just to clarify a step further, i don't think killa tay or anyone like him should be rapping over the "hottest" or most current producers. i think they should be rhyming over some big sounding grimey westcoast shit, which is different than "the hottest."
