most of these dudes are gangstas that just happen to rap...the beefs they had were way before making music and the music they make isnt exactly the kind to unify...hope for the best for their careers but i'm not telling nobody how to live their lives

Ya know, its harder than it looks... it takes alot of diplomacy to get homies to look at things past their hood politics. Some shit is just too deep that they cant let go..on the other hand, when people realize they need to move forward and even make a difference in their community/city/hood/set... then you have something that gives hope to a dire situation.

why I liked CCG, well, it connected alot of people. And maybe for an album, it connected Bloods, Pirus, and Crips from the SAME CITY (something bout the SE).

Before the "Pirus" thread came up, Mitch said he wanted to fuck with Big June (on siccness).. Of course I holla'd at both of them and even redrum 781 wanted to do shit with both of them on the track. Of course, when in person/on phone it went a different route.

Regardless, its gotta be a compromise... and with that, a bit of faith and trust with open communication to solve difficult issues.

But others have made it work..so I keep hope in that the right people will send the right message. Shit, from what I understand, Don D invited Big June to the Hatfields and Big June invited Don D to Meadowbrook... so shit is not impossible.

If people not just make a statement, but put in it 100, no funny shit, it will become Relevent. I think OG Proball promoting peace in the Southeast is dope... problem is that its a message the people that have the voice and influence have to push to get to that level.

While this is mentioned for SD, this can apply to any hood and any city.

Bumpy knuckles BKA Freddie Foxx dissed Cormega, this how Cormega responded.

A song by Gangstarr Foundation member Bumpy Knuckles aka Freddie Foxxx dissing Guru and Cormega just leaked. (go to our audio section to listen)
We're still not sure if it's a recent song but Cormega has already released the following response via his website, LegalHustle.net:

'Dear Freddie Foxxx, hows it going I heard about a track (old song)with you saying some things about Guru and for some reason my name slipped on there so I thought Id reach out to you since I dont have your math. Anyway you said you made me no Freddie, God made me but you did influence my decision to go independant as did E Money Bags so I guess since I get all the recognition as a trendsetter you feel as if you aint getting your proper due well "You the man Foxxx". Ok now that thats out the way you say I fronted on you for a whiteboy at Koch keep it real since you put it out there say you talking about Bob I was doing business with him but I would never come between a man and his paper and also whiteboys buy most of your records mine too so lets keep them out of it. Last but not least you say a girl out rapped me etc etc yada yada I say this Im going to make you an offer how about you get beat and write a verse and see if YOU can out rap me. I wont even say your name or say any disrespectful lines towards you just pure skill because truth be told Im FUCKING NICE with the bars. I dont want this to be like the situation with you and Rakim which really hurt me to see you due to the history of the peoples.
Last but not least what happened??? You used to be my nigga you used to come to Queensbridge and kick it with me when I came home you was one of the only niggas in the industry that I considered fam we fuck with the same circle attend the same funerals wakes cook-outs "What Did I Do"
Anyway call the peeps if you need my number'

If you can't do that (what Mega just did in that situation) you a bitch, runnin high of emotion.

Cormega did a nice diss song to Nas..i think its called love in love out or something...but intsead of going extra hard he basically was humble which made the diss song more effective.................

When I came home from jail we was brothers
Your beef was my beef
Remeber that time with Butta on your video set
When he was talkin' bout shootin'
If you don't pay him, then I got into it
Son you gave me a hundred dollars when I came home
I didn't complain I wasn't in it to gain
You my nigga when you hot and when the temperature changed
Now we enemies, 'til we enter the grave
When I got signed to Def Jam I offered you ten grand
You said you didn't want it, then you started acting funny
It started with the cover of YSB
A picture of The Firm, everyone except me
Then my voice disappeared off La Familia
That's when it was clear to me there wasn't no real love
I was out The Firm, unless I signed a production deal
Which I didn't do cus son, that wasn't real
I was never jealous of you
In fact I was proud of you
I smiled when I heard you on "Live at the Barbeque"
I respect you as an artist thou I'm no longer fond of you
I gave you love from the heart unlike the people surrounding you

(Chorus)
Love in, Love out
Nowaways is no honor, only drama
Your friend today can be your enemy tomorrow
Never show weakness, tell 'em no secrets
What's deep is, I had love for you
But due to situations, I can't fuck with you
Trust is a luxury I can't afford
Betrayal's something that I can't ignore

(Verse 2)
My love is real
Some earn it, some are unworthy
Some, walk in the prescence of men with thoughts to hurt me
And wonder why I throw shade and stay to myself
Cus I'm me, plus I'm not betraying myself
I'm free from the burden of extending my hand
To my man's that don't deserve it
I only trust fam
When I was locked up, you was doing you excluded me
You should be happy now that I'm doing me
Niggas, acting like I won't give up a habit
I got a question: Who came to spank weight empty handed?
You smile in my face yet your eyes reveal the hate
Next time you talk about me, mention I ain't fake
I'm living my dream, live yours
I gave sweat and tears
You didn't even buy my CD, you say you my man? (uh)
You so jealous your emotions make you careless
I hope when you hear this it makes you think before you staring
At your last I hear you scheemin'
I'm reading you your last right
Get your mind off primitive thoughts and get your cats right
I'm not limited, without rap I'd still be gettin' it
Yours truly, the dealer / lyricist

(Chorus)
