Its a different generation homie...It was bound to happen. Most of the music in the Bay caters to a very small market of people. The proof is in the numbers you just showed. You can either learn from it and rethink your game plan and angle to get into a better market , or complain and keep it the same. (not saying you, just in general). If your not making money off music then the problem is not the consumer, its the label/artist for not making music that the masses enjoy, just because 1 region likes it doesn't mean the whole country will (Different strokes for different folks). Adapt or die.....or just make music your friends.

p.s. Your friends are not your fans.

i feel you 110% only the strong survive thats why i said we need to get our shit together lol but you can preach till your blue in the face but it wont change anything honestly i think the artists should come together an put out nothing for a few months until the consumers get their shit together

Popular music whether u like it or not; whether its horrible or not always tops everything else... Just be aware of anything good & exciting comin out & get over the rest of the crap that tops em all!! Leave the bullshit to the kids & brainwashed radio-relying crowds......

Moving 100,000 units nowadays is a big accomplishment for a lot of artists nowadays. Billboard should award artists for hitting that milestone, call it silver, & 200,000, bronze. Wonder what the 2 cd's E-40 put out last year are sitting at?
