Today I was comming home from work and was crusin at like 85 in the 1st lane. This guy in a 2001 or 2002 SS camaro pulls by me. I drive a 95 Firebird, not to many mods just Flows, hypertech, K&n Airfilter. Anways He revs on me and we go, of course he wins numerous times. Anways before its my exit to get off and go home I step on it and he opens it up, Im going about 95 and the camaro is goin about 100-105. Suddenly in the 3rd lane a guy just fuckin pops up in a viper, I swear it coulda been the hennessey he down shifts and lets it go. Needless to say that car is fuckin fast because I lost view of it after a couple of seconds. He must been going at least 120. Anyone got some stories to tell?

I had an uncle die 'cause a racing car lost control and hit him. A freeway is for people to drive, not for entertainment. "Racers" should buy or rent their own race track if they want to race.

Do it at night.

We have a 5 mile stretch on 70 where wed do it after 2am. Its from between 2-3 ,lanes. Shit was bomb back when we used to get like 6+ cars at once.

LATELY, I go to about 4 good races a month. Last 3 i saw was

1. Grand Prix (coplete sleeper: all done up plus Nitrous) vs. Comaro. I posted it before.

2. same Grand Prix vs. Twin Turbo Supra - Prix won by a small margin.

3. 95 Firebird vs. 68 Comaro. The twop started at the begining down at the Lab. Both had hooked up great, the older car hit 2nd and slid out but got his wheels back under him but by then it was too late. He has a great car, just wants a better fuel pump.

I could tell you exciting ones i was in if you want.

Yea, my cousin was racing w/ his GF on the freeway (while intoxicated) and ended up killing a mother of two. He was in a coma for a month, got a metal plate in his head and 6 1/2 yrs. at Marysville. But I felt the worst for the lady's family, especially her two teenagers. :dead:

i feel bad about the stories.. but hell yea racing is fun as hell..

i only do it late at night mind you..

i remember a few cool ones in my friends Explorer we raced a Lowrider in San Jose on the freeway.. we were at 110 at the fastest.. it was pretty tame.. we raced for days tho at least 2 miles.. it was pretty tight

another one i was in a fuckin SC400 that my friends grandpa had and we took it out at like 12.. we saw an old chevelle and we started driving hella close to it and he took off and we just floored it and mobbed the shit out of him.. we were like 140 in that thing..

another time on Stone Valley Road in danville we were in a Z28 and this CBR900 street bike comes up behind us and i was like let him pass so we threw him a peace sign and he does a 90MPH stand up wheelie right past us..

i have seen a mustang race a civic on Dougherty road in danville/san ramon and the mustang slid out and crashed..

also there was a RSX that raced a Suburu Outback and the outback spun out at like 120..

sorry.. i race a lot lol :dead:

hmmm aparently I race a lot of people then, if all you have to do is speed past them and they pass you, usually I just think it's driving in traffic, well in that case I beat a bunch of folks in a 99 chevy cube-van (big u-haul lookin' truck) with a load of carpeting and shit in the back going down the freeway....

Base On ive owned 3 domestic cars and ive owned 2 imports and the imports way out-better-ed the domestics. The Chevy i bought, and still own, was falling apart at a rate of literally 8 to ZERO.

MY!

Thats a lot. The Mitsubishi had traveled farther, it was also a race car i was working on, and going just on factory items, yes it was 8 TIMES STRONGER, and lasted well into the everyday driver ranks of a retired race car i built.

8 to ZERO
8 to ZERO
8 to ZERO

2nd import lasted just as long as the first and i had other domestics that fall apart too easy and have FAILING PARTS!

However i am better at doing engine work on a Domestic than new import.
